Planning to move into an office administration role or already working in a similar area? Make a difference in your role by learning payroll, accounts payable and receivable with MYOB, maintaining financial records, producing workplace documentations and organising personal work priorities. A Statement of Attainment is issued on successful completion of all required assessments. If you wish to complete the full BSB30415 Certificate III in Business Administration, you will also need to complete Office Skills – Administration cluster, which consists of the remaining 7 units of the qualification.
This course is delivered in flexible mode i.e. you will study at your own time and pace; however a trainer will meet you different times during the course to discuss your progress and help you with your study. The other times you can keep contact with your trainer via email or phone. You will start with a face to face session of approximately 2 hours with your trainer to discuss about your training and assessment plan. During the first interview, the trainer will also provide you with your first set learning and assessment materials.The face to face session can also be done on Skype if you are living in a remote area or unable to attend in person due to health issues. Skype session requires fast internet, a computer and a high resolution web cam.
You have six months to complete this course from the date of commencement. Please let your trainer know if you need more time to complete or for any other support you may require.
Eligibility to enrol into this course:
This course requires strong language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) skills for successful completion. If you believe you will need to develop your LLN skills, please feel free to let us know. We can arrange an English assessment for you to understand your level. Besides the LLN skills, it is expected that candidates already have some exposure to an office environment and have a previous qualification. You will need to complete an eligibility checklist to provide us with information about your work experience and/or previous qualifications. You will also need to provide a copy of your current CV.
Please note this course may not be suitable for those who have no previous qualification and/or exposure to an office environment.

Assessment strategies
Assessments for this qualification include both formative and summative assessments and include questions and answers, portfolio of evidence, project assignments and third party report. You will be provided with assessment tasks at the beginning of your course during the face to face session.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
If you believe you have relevant skills and experience satisfying the competency requirement of this qualifcation, please consult with your trainer for the possibility of recognition. The trainer will provide you with a clear guideline on the RPL assessments and evidence requirements.
Final outcome
Upon successful completion of the units listed above, you will be awarded with a Statement of Attainment from BSB30415 Certificate III in Business Administration. If you wish to gain the full qualification, you will need to successfully complete all the units of this unit as well as those listed in Office Skills – Administration course.
