The Diploma of Training Design and Development TAE50216 is for training developers and instructional designers who are responsible for analysing training needs and designing training solutions and products to meet workplace capacity requirements and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs. This qualification is suitable for those wishing to develop their training and assessment career. The upgrade course is applicable to those who already have TAE50211 Diploma of Training Design and Development and now wish to upgrade to the current TAE50216 Diploma of Training Design and Development.
Apart from having TAE50211, you will need to have recent training design and development experience within an RTO or similar setting for RPL . If there is any gap identified, you may be offered face to face or flexible training to undertake training and complete assessments for those units at extra cost. The cost of gap training will depend on the scope of training required.
It is important to understand that enrolling into an RPL and/or upgrade course doesn’t automatically result in the issuing of a qualification.
