About the course
on completion of Certificate II in Workplace Skills, you will gain foundation business skills that are valued across a wide range of industries and professions. Course will prepare you for your career as an outstanding administrative assistant or for those who are returning to the workforce. The 5 core and 5 elective units will bring you up to date with technology and communication skills as well as how to plan and apply time management.
The practical experiences and developed skills gained, will give you an advantage in the job market.
BSB20120 Certificate II in Workplace Skills will be awarded on successful completion of all units.
This qualification will be delivered in a classroom environment by a qualified industry skilled trainer at Western Sydney Skills Hub at North Parramatta. Address – 410 Church St, Level 3, Suite 34, North Parramatta, NSW 2151. Please note that classes may not be available when you are reading this course description, but the college still encourages the potential candidates to register their interest by joining the waiting list (available at the bottom of this page)
To gain the full qualification you will need to satisfactorily complete all the units listed below including all required assessments and other evidence requirements. Where a learner does not satisfactorily complete the full qualification, a Statement of Attainment will be issued for those units that have been satisfactorily completed.

Delivery strategies
Classes are delivered in a face to face classroom environment led by a qualified and industry experienced trainer. Learning strategies include role play, demonstrations, lectures and classroom activities. All participants will be supported by our qualified and skilled team throughout their learning journey. 10 weeks two days per week with an additional 8hrs of home study per week.
Assessment strategies
Assessments for this qualification include both formative and summative assessments through written questions and answers, observations and practical demonstration of knowledge and skills
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Final outcome
Upon successful completion of all the required units of competency, you will be awarded with BSB20120 Certificate II in Workplace Skills.
