Microsoft Office Intermediate is an nationally accredited course. Be in front of the game and learn the valuable skills to be more efficient and organised at work and home using Microsoft Word, Excel. Power Point and Outlook. This intermediate course is designed to improve your expertise and build upon your skills and master the features in Microsoft Office programs. These mid level skills will give you the advantage in the workplace. Be efficient and gain the skills, understanding and become productive using Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. After completing this course you may choose to progress to one of our Excel Intermediate, Pivot tables, Excel formulas and functions or MYOB courses. This course has 2 units of competencies

From BSB30120 Certificate III in Business. You may choose to continue your studies and receive a credits for completed units towards the full qualification of BSB30120 Certificate III in Business
Microsoft Word:
Be skilled and know how complex functions and how to work using different document techniques, format text using themes and styles sets. You will learn how to create multi-level lists, format pages, position pictures and text wrapping and perform mail merge and much much more.
Microsoft Excel:
Excel will give you the skills to work with multiple worksheets, filter data work with rows, columns and worksheets and manipulate databases. You will learn how to create, modify and format charts. Once you complete this introduction to Excel you can move forward learn more with MS Excel Intermediate.
Microsoft Outlook:
There is so much more to learn about Outlook other than reading emails. You don't realise there are so many functions. This course will teach you how to schedule calendars for yourself or to share with your team. You will also learn how to filter your emails, archiving and even customizing your inbox.
Power Point:
Power Point is a presentation program with many optional features for personal ad professional purpose. Features including slide shows, animations, layouts and templates. The skills you will learn from this course will enable you to create exceptional and stunning presentations.

NSW Government subsidy may be available for eligible participants when enrolling into the full qualification. The course price is $550.00. Prerequisites Whilst there are no prerequisites for this course, it is expected that you have adequate language, literacy and numeracy skills and computer skills to be able to interact with peers, trainers and completing assessments using a computer in the classroom. Units of competency Duration of course This course is run over 5 weeks, once a week for 5 hours with an additional home learning. Delivery method and resources required This course will be delivered face to face classroom-based facilitation with a qualified and skilled trainer. Resource Requirements Learner manuals will be provided at no further cost than the course fee. This course requires the use of computer and internet either in the classroom or at the students’ home or workplace to research the relevant legislations, industry standards and to develop relevant workplace documents. Competency Outcome On successful completion of all required assessments, a Statement of Attainment will be issued from BSB30120 - Certificate III in Business.
