Pottery for Beginners
About the course:
Whether you are a complete novice or have some previous experience, this course will provide a solid foundation in the basics of clay work. Throughout the course, you will learn from a couple of experienced trainers who will help you all the way. Students will be taught the necessary skills for hand-building techniques such as pinch, coil, and slab construction. Basic decoration and glazing techniques will also be covered. Additionally, students will learn about the properties of clay, firing, and glazing.
This course will be taught at Merrylands Community Centre: First Floor, 17 Miller St, Merrylands NSW 2160.

- There are added costs ($85 per student) for glaze, clay and firing, which is to be paid directly to the trainers - please speak with the trainers for more info
