A gentle class, in the style of Hatha Yoga. Yoga has been practiced from ancient times in India. Suitable for beginners and continuing students. Yoga is an ancient art based on a harmonising system of development for the mind body and spirit. The continued practise of yoga will lead you to a sense of peace and wellbeing, the practise of yoga makes the body strong and flexible it also improves the function of the respiratory, circulatory, digestive and hormonal system. Yoga brings about emotional stability and clarity of mind.

We recommend that you do not do these classes if you are pregnant. Please wear comfortable clothing, and bring a yoga mat and blanket, and bottle of water.

This class to be delivered, as scheduled, through a virtual online classroom - Zoom!

In these challenging times we all want to stay connected and socially interact, therefore Parramatta College will be delivering this course via Zoom video call software. You don’t need the software to participate, we simply email you a link before the class starts which enables to join the video call. Please note though you will need a computer with a web cam/microphone/speakers OR a smart device, such as an ipad, iphone, or other smart phone/tablet to participate on the video call. If you have neither you can also be added as an audio participant if you wish.

Enrol as usual and we will then send you the Zoom details prior to the class starting.

As this class started a week later than intended, on Monday 11th May and also there is no class on Monday 8th June due to the public holiday, therefore the last lesson will be held on 6th July.
