Janice Conlon

Janice Conlon has an extensive background in Art. Qualifications include having graduated from a 3 year commercial art course at East
Sydney (Darlinghurst) art school, and later she travelled to Hawaii where she attained a B.A. in Art at Brigham Young University of Hawaii. Janice funded her studies in Hawaii by receiving painting commissions, including painting the props for the Polynesian Cultural Centre, Laie, Hawaii.
Apart from her work at Parramatta College, Janice has a long history of working as an art teacher in various high schools.
Janice still continues to receive painting commissions, and in fact for the last 10 years she has painted the backdrops for the Nativity diaramas displayed at Penant Hills Rd. Carlingford as part of their Christmas celebrations.
Janice loves art and teaching art. Janice enjoys the challenge of bringing out the artistic talents of others, and seeing them develop and improve their skills.
