Cheryl started working in the craft industry 22 years ago, when she went to a college course herself and fell in love with stamping. From there, it continued to grow into many other types of craft. Cheryl became passionate about this hobby and started working in a local craft shop. She then started teaching cardmaking and has been doing so for the last 10 years. Cheryl has a range of card making skills including, rubber stamping and embossing, as well she has worked with embossing and cutting machines. She uses a variety of techniques to create one of a kind different shaped cards, as well as conventional card shapes. She uses chalks, pencils and inks to colour in the designs and to highlight focal points, as well as working with folds, patterned papers, and cut out shapes on cards. Using these variety of techniques she has created cards for all ages, genders and events, such as birthdays, christenings and weddings.
Cheryl truly loves teaching any sort of paper/card craft and is very patient when it comes to beginners. She also volunteers at a school for the intellectually disabled ( K – year 12 ), where she mentors the students in arts/craft. She has also volunteered at a nursing home, and currently volunteers at craft store, Alice in Paperland.
Cheryl has a passionate love of all craft and a desire to pass her passion on, and is a patient and friendly tutor who can work with all levels of experience from the beginner to advanced.

Bing Wu has been teaching for Parramatta College since 1999. She is a practising, prize winning artist and experienced art teacher. She has taught a variety of art courses including pastel drawing, watercolour and oil painting . Bing specialises in the Impressionist style and her works have received awards from The Sydney Royal Easter Show, The Art Gallery of NSW and The North Sydney Art Prize.Michael Wyatt

Mike is a professional musician who has been has been playing many different instruments live around NSW and Qld clubs, pubs and theatres for over 20 years. He is an AMEB teacher of Bass, Guitar, Piano, Sax, Flute and Clarinet and teaches for a number of schools.
Mike has extensive experience running and conducting orchestras containing many wind and percussion instruments as well as guitars and bass guitars. He is a musical composer and arranger, and has arranged many pieces for wind ensembles, mixed instrument orchestras as well as church music.
Mike’s extensive experience in so many aspects of musical endeavour means that he has designed his course in such a way that the students learn good habits to start with and don’t have to unlearn things later on in their careers.
Whilst the course is designed to be mastered in one term the classes are so much fun that students often come back in subsequent terms because of the happy atmosphere and the new songs learned each term.
