Build up your career in office administration as a team leader with this qualification. This course has a strong focus on both communication and computers in the workplace and so it is also ideal for participants already in the workforce who wish to improve their skills in either or both of these areas. It is particularly relevant to, but not limited to, people working in business administration environments where a well developed knowledge of the business and leadership and guidance is required. Gain the essential knowledge and skills in coordinating business resources, organising meetings, designing and delivering complex business documents, administering projects, and implementing sustainable work practices. This course can also be customised to suit your business needs.
Learning Strategies
This course is delivered in flexible mode i.e. you will study at your own time and pace and a trainer will be allocated to assist you with your course progress via email or phone. You will start with a face to face session of approximately 2 hours with your trainer to discuss about your training and assessment plan. The face to face session can also be done on Skype if you are unable to attend in person. After you have enrolled, please ring us on 02 96872072 or email to admin@parramattacollege.com.au to negotiate a date and time for the face to face session. Please note Skype session requires fast internet, a computer and a high resolution web cam.
You have six months to complete the qualification from the date of commencement. Please let your trainer know if you need more time to complete or for any other support you may require. Participants are provided with learner guides and the assessment materials at the beginning of the course.

BSBINM401 Implement workplace information system
BSBADM407 Administer projects
BSBADM409 Coordinate business resources
Please note that you will require strong language, literacy and numeracy skills to successfully complete the assessments in this qualification.
Assessment strategies
Assessments for this qualification include both formative and summative assessments and include questions and answers, portfolio of evidence, project assignments and third party report. You will be provided with assessment tasks at the beginning of your course during the face to face session.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
If you believe you have relevant skills and experience satisfying the competency requirement of this qualifcation, please consult with your trainer for the possibility of recognition. The trainer will provide you with a clear guideline on the RPL assessments and evidence requirements.
Final outcome
To receive the qualification BSB40515 Certificate IV in Business Administration, you will need to successfully complete all the required assessments in cluster 1 and 2. The assessor may ask you to provide further evidence if the first submission is found to be insufficient or non satisfactory. A Statement of Attainment from BSB40515 will be issued if you have successfully completed one or more than one unit but not all the units.
